Capital Airlines is a full-service airline based in Brazil. Established in 2006 at Viracopos Airport in Campinas (VCP), it is the largest airline in Latin America. It was founded with the goal of connecting all of Brazil—at a regional level—with major urban centers.
With its initial flights departing from Campinas to compete directly with the former Azura Brasil, it managed to establish itself in the Brazilian market. In 2016, following the acquisition of Azura, it secured slots at GRU, GIG, CNF, BSB, and other hubs, solidifying its position as the dominant player in Brazilian skies.
It is currently the largest airline in South America, handling the highest passenger volume in the Southern Hemisphere, with established hubs at GRU, CGH, GIG, CNF, and BSB. Connecting Brazil to the world.
