About this site
This site is a shared collection of pages that anyone with an account can start, and that anyone holding a page's edit code can change. It is built for writing things down properly: a page for each thing, tags that say what a page is about, and links between pages that keep working when a page is renamed.
There is no sign-up wall in front of reading. Every published page, every tag and every search is open to anybody.
Where to start
- How this site works โ pages, edit codes, accounts, sections and tabs.
- Writing in Markdown โ the formatting the editor understands.
- Linking pages โ how double brackets connect pages.
- Tags and tag groups โ how a page says what it is about, and how readers find it.
- House rules โ what is expected of anyone who writes here.
The first four are the software's own guides, the same on every site built with it; the Help link in the footer of every page leads there too.
Who runs it
This site is run by its administrator. Staff can review changes, freeze or hide a page, and remove things that break the House rules. Every act staff take on a page is recorded, and the record says it was staff who acted.
If something on the site is wrong about you, or shows something it should not, write to the administrator. This page is the administrator's to fill in with how.
